Conventional urban lawns and decoration planting often exhaust soil nutrients and disrupt underground ecosystems. Inspired by mycelium–plant symbiosis, MycoMat designs a living mat that fosters underground co-living between plants and fungal networks, reframing landscape design as ecological care rather than surface-level greenery.
